Photography was my first love.

It was over a disposable camera and a laugh when I was 13 years old.

I have always been obsessed with memory. I have always seen this medium as a tool to explore my questions by inviting others to show me their lives, their loves, and their questions.

Along the way, it became “my job”. It became what I was “known for”. But I’ve never stopped seeing it as an art form.

I’ve never stopped shooting film, even when no one else was doing it. I’ve never stopped giving everything I had to those who trusted me to document their lives, even when I built a crazy one back home with three boys myself. I’ve never stopped being inspired by others in the field (living and dead). I’ve never stopped learning, growing, and changing, and I’ve never stopped giving myself grace to own those changes.

But most of all, I have never stopped being really, really amazed that you- person across the screen- found me.

Hybrid Photography:

Is it Film or Digital?

Maybe it’s both.

How can I serve you?

Family Sessions

My favorite family session looks like a relaxed day at home. Unstructured play. No forced smiles. I’m usually on the floor with the kids. As a mom of 3 myself, I know how hard forced family photos can be. I focus on candids, little vignettes from what your life REALLY feels like right now, and we take it from there.

Couple’s Sessions

Engagement. Anniversary. Just Because.

Weddings

I have been photographing weddings for 10 years now. This means I know exactly what you need, and that is someone who is relaxed, reliable, and who cares about this day as much as anyone else present.

I like to joke that I’m kind of like a photographer, a planner, and a bridesmaid all in one. I am really involved in the process from Day 01, and I make sure that you are given not only great photographs but also a great experience to remember them by.

Boudoir

I have been photographing boudoir sessions for as long as I’ve been doing weddings (10 years). As someone who has done three of these myself, there is so much to be said for the level of appreciation you will have for having done them years down the road. Life changes. Bodies change. Sometimes, partners change. These sessions are a way of memorializing and honoring the most important relationship in your life: The one you have with yourself.

For Fellow Artists, Makers, & Entrepreneurs

Branding Session

In today’s day and age, you need to have photographs of whatever you plan to sell (do I sound old yet or what?).

That being said, as a storyteller, I feel there needs to be some context (and yes, some STORY) behind what it is you offer. In a lot of ways, this process helps US, the maker, get really clear on our vision, our OWN WHY. Because without that, what’s the point, anyway?!

Styled Session

Fun fact about me: I did stage crew through all of High School. Which means that I love to direct people, places, and things. Fortunately, I have a beautiful home that I often use as a set and a knack for floral and decor design. I’ve been opening myself to this work in the past year and i have made bodies of work that are unlike anything i’ve made previously because of it. We work together to plan the vision, the outfits, and I usually block my entire day so that we can create art together without pressure.

Let’s make Art together.

Super 8 Film

When my grandfather died, I inherited his Super 8 film camera.

I remember watching the actual reels with my family, metal projector pointed at a white wall, tears on all of our faces.

There is a magic to the silent film that cannot be put into words.

I have been shooting super 8 film for my own personal life, and now, I am happy to offer it to you too.

Getting married at

The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm?

I have had the Privilege of photographing at this beautiful venue for a decade now! The owners Mark and Deena are dear friends of mine, and I have a special place in my heart for weddings that take place here.

I have put together a special online gallery with images taken along the property over the years. Click below.
