Riverdale Manor Wedding: Eric & Devin

I have known Eric for Half of my life.

Friendship is one of our greatest gifts in the human experience. I cannot put into words how special this day was for me as a friend, and for all of us who have witnessed Devin and Eric commit their lives to one another as true friends and life partners for the past 8 years.

Eric and devin are unbelievable people who were raised by Unbelievable people.

It was such a gift to witness the culmination of so many years of love coming together in a day of unabashed joy and celebration.

Eric and Devin are the kind of people who are just so genuinely themselves- it’s so refreshing to be around them.

I have invited them to everything I’ve hosted, from holiday parties to art receptions, and they are always there and always smiling. They are reliable friends, the kind of people who know how to give you the gift of their full attention and presence, so the energy of this day was so laid back I think I forgot that I was “Working”! They gave me complete creative freedom and trust, and some of the photographs I took on this day were my favorites all year because of it.

Eric and Devin, thank you for giving me this honor. I truly would not have wanted anyone else to hold the camera on your wedding day, and I love that you walked that line of trust and freedom throughout the whole process. I love you both. I love that we get to grow old together and keep making epic memories together and that this day was just a celebration of a union that we have always known was one for life.
