I’m kind of like a kid on Christmas morning when I know the UPS truck will be rolling into town sometime between 10am and 4pm with my latest custom hand made wedding album on board. I mean, in general, I get a little over-excited about these things. Basia and Tom so kindly permitted me to use their amazing wedding images for my latest album sample, and I didn’t miss a beat. This Saturday will mark 6 weeks since their wedding. So yes, their files were completed, delivered, images selected and retouched, album designed, ordered, produced, shipped, and delivered all within 6 weeks. Once you give me the green light, I run to the finish line. It’s kind of how I am.
As with my last album post, I need to give a huge shout out to the guys at Renaissance Albums who make my dreams become a real and tangible product in hand. As always, their craftsmanship blew me away and I am so proud to be adding this bad boy to my catalog. Weighing in at just over 7 lbs., Vol. 2 is my middle child in the lineup, layflat like Vol. 1 with the wow factor of Vol. 3 all in one. This particular album measures 10 by 13in. with a sage silk cover, which I chose as it perfectly matched the bridesmaids colors (you will see that in one of the spreads) and because I loved the texture of the material. It has an overlapping cover, which perfectly hides a small 2x2in image upon opening inset within a deep bevel that I love to run my fingers along. This album is flushmount, so the images are printed directly onto the spreads with no seam down the center, perfect for panoramas like I did on the very last page. Dropped off on my front doorstep just under an hour ago, I am happy to debut Vol. 2 on the blog this afternoon!
