They were the kind of couple who could fall in love during a spontaneous adventure starting out as friends, could move across the country together, start a new life in a new place, and then plan the most perfect wedding that fit them just right from nearly 3,000 miles away. Because Gwynne and Mike, they know that no matter how things pan out, they have their best friend by their side to roll with the punches.

The funny thing about this wedding is it had all the things you read on The Knot and Style Me Pretty that a wedding should have, but with a personal spin. That killer red truck? It has been in Gwynne’s family for decades. Her bouquet? She put it together herself with picked flowers she selected from her mother’s garden. Gold wedding bands? Her grandmother’s own ring, a family heirloom. That LOVE marquee sign? Hand. Freakin’. Made. By the coolest father of the bride I have ever met. I mean, the kind of guy who rocks suspenders and a smile 24/7.  That day, I was surrounded by so many salt-of-the-earth people who brought as many smiles as there was sunshine, and I basked in all of it.

I could keep rambling on, but instead I’d rather leave you with a few dozen images of a day that was a little bit boho, a little bit vintage, and a whole lot of drop dead gorgeous.
